




You can see the marine layer near the shore and resting on the horizon in the distsnce. The fog was so thick that droplets collected in my hair as I walked my dog. This is a vital source of moisture for plants that grow along the coast during months without rain.
This loop trail features an interpretive guide that you can download to your phone. The trail is 1.5 miles long so can be completed in a relatively short period of time, but we ambled along and stopped frequently to enjoy the scenery, spending all afternoon there. There are also a couple of benches along the trail for those who would like a nice place to sit, relax, and take in the forest.
